GP Systems was founded in 1994 by Tim Connors. The original concept was to actively promote the new PC medium of CD-ROM based computer entertainment by offering a large selection of the latest PC games. CD-ROM technology was in its infancy at this time and, as such, the computer configuration and hardware requirements proved to be quite frustrating to an otherwise enthusiastic client base. This was unacceptable.
It wasn't long before GP Systems found itself designing computer systems to take advantage of the exciting new multimedia possibilities that were opened up by the new technology explosion.
By focusing on the more demanding applications that are expected of personal computers [i.e.: games!!!] the company quickly earned a reputation as being among the finest systems integrators. GP Systems found itself designing solutions for all types of users regardless of their applications. Many resellers, integrators, and corporate environments now choose GP Systems as their exclusive supplier of computer hardware because of the company's commitment to quality and service.
This commitment is evident regardless of what product is purchased. Whether it is a major server / network environment or a simple home PC, GP Systems never differentiates from client to client. This ensures that everyone benefits from GP Systems level of commitment.
GP Systems has never been the type of computer business to invest in advertising to a great degree. Alternatively, the company decided to let the quality of its work, products, and staff translate into a healthy and growing loyal client base. It seems that this philosophy has worked as the company continues to grow and expand on its product catalogue.
